We Offer Prenatal Care And More!

We know that you have a choice when it comes to the doctors you turn to, including your OBGYN. Our team here at First Coast Obstetrics & Gynecology goes the extra mile to make sure that you get the treatment and individualized care you need every time you walk through our doors. Prenatal care is an important part of every pregnancy, as it can identify potential issues early on to reduce the risk for complications or health problems during your pregnancy.

You must find an obstetrician that you feel comfortable with, as you will be coming in for regular checkups throughout your pregnancy. You’ll want to schedule your first prenatal appointment as soon as you suspect that you’re pregnant (or have received a positive home pregnancy test). The first visit will occur around 8 weeks. From there, you’ll need one prenatal appointment each month until the 28th week. From the 28th week to the 36th week you’ll come in every two weeks. From the 36th week until delivery you’ll come in once a week.

We also understand that every woman will have different needs throughout her pregnancy. We have worked with women of all ages and preexisting health problems and can tailor our care to meet each patient’s health needs.

First Coast Obstetrics & Gynecology is the premier practice for women’s health here in Palatka, FL and Middleburg, FL , whether for routine well-women visits, prenatal care, or menopause treatment.
